It is time that racism stopped. If we are to pull South Africa out of the mess it has fallen into we have to work together – Black and White, educated and uneducated. We need to work out what is needed to build a strong democratic land, then sort out priorities and solutions. The negative issues which hinder the process such as crime, corruption and hate speech must be dealt with as these cause the hatred and fear which is destroying our land
You know what amazes me people. The area where I stay has a large ammount of blacks and whites. You will not believe how we stand together.

There are so many blacks that I know of that is totally against Mr Umfene (means – Baboon in Xhosa)(Julius Malema). I am an Afrikaans speaking white African and speak isiXhosa fluently. Why- Because I was not part of apartheid and feel that it is my obligation to experience the black African culture. We should all stand together and realize what we all have to be thankful of.
What tickles my ass the most is that my domestic worker ( As like thousand others) have been waiting 7 years for her house which she applied for. Julius Malema and Zuma does not care about those who do not have anything when they sit in their mantions every night. They are just worried about attention and whether they should rather buy another house cash for R7 milllion or should they spend it on cars. Do they really use some of their own income and donate to charity. I am not talking about giving the government’s money to charity. Well my personal feeling is NO they dont. Because they do not care about the rest as long as they survive.
I am white and have been part of a non profit organization where we gather money and clothes etc to give to those who do not have. I can say with proudness that I did some stats last week and found that sofar I have been part of projects the past ten years where we have given clothes, food etc to +- 37000 black people and only to +- 1200 whites. What does it tell you? Who am I to discrimate. Strickly speaking I have have been discriminating against the whites by helping only +- a 1200. And you know what scares me the most. The fact that why are we investing into black people if Julius is trying to convince them to kill the boer. Well the answer is simple – Not all of the black people feel like that asshole. So I am happy about our input. I feel their are many good hearted Black People out there.
I completed my Masters last year and have been struggling to find a job for more than a year now. Why should we as young white men who was never part of apartheid be stopped from getting a permanent job? Why why why?
Honnestly, If a person is good enough and deserves the position by all means but my mouth hanged open last week where I went for an interview and found today that I did not get the job because the job was given to a Black african who do not even have matric or a qualification?

What type of virus is HIV?
HIV is a lentivirus, and like all viruses of this type, it attacks the immune system. Lentiviruses are in turn part of a larger group of viruses known as retroviruses. The name ‘lentivirus’ literally means ‘slow virus’ because they take such a long time to produce any adverse effects in the body. They have been found in a number of different animals, including cats, sheep, horses and cattle. However, the most interesting lentivirus in terms of the investigation into the origins of HIV is the Simian Immunodeficiency Virus (SIV) that affects monkeys.
So did HIV come from an SIV?
It is now generally accepted that HIV is a descendant of a Simian Immunodeficiency Virus because certain strains of SIVs bear a very close resemblance to HIV-1 and HIV-2, the two types of HIV.
HIV-2 for example corresponds to SIVsm, a strain of the Simian Immunodeficiency Virus found in the sooty mangabey (also known as the collared monkey), which is indigenous to western Africa.
The more virulent, pandemic strain of HIV, namely HIV-1, was until recently more difficult to place. Until 1999, the closest counterpart that had been identified was SIVcpz, the SIV found in chimpanzees. However, this virus still had certain significant differences from HIV.
What happened in 1999?
In February 1999 a group of researchers from the University of Alabama1 announced that they had found a type of SIVcpz that was almost identical to HIV-1. This particular strain was identified in a frozen sample taken from a captive member of the sub-group of chimpanzees known as Pan troglodytes troglodytes (P. t. troglodytes), which were once common in west-central Africa.
The researchers (led by Paul Sharp of Nottingham University and Beatrice Hahn of the University of Alabama) made the discovery during the course of a 10-year long study into the origins of the virus. They claimed that this sample proved that chimpanzees were the source of HIV-1, and that the virus had at some point crossed species from chimps to humans.
Their final findings were published two years later in Nature magazine2. In this article, they concluded that wild chimps had been infected simultaneously with two different simian immunodeficiency viruses which had “viral sex” to form a third virus that could be passed on to other chimps and, more significantly, was capable of infecting humans and causing AIDS.
These two different viruses were traced back to a SIV that infected red-capped mangabeys and one found in greater spot-nosed monkeys. They believe that the hybridisation took place inside chimps that had become infected with both strains of SIV after they hunted and killed the two smaller species of monkey.
They also concluded that all three ‘groups’ of HIV-1 – namely Group M, N and O (see our strains and subtypes page for more information on these) – came from the SIV found in P. t. troglodytes, and that each group represented a separate crossover ‘event’ from chimps to humans.
How could HIV have crossed species?
It has been known for a long time that certain viruses can pass between species. Indeed, the very fact that chimpanzees obtained SIV from two other species of primate shows just how easily this crossover can occur. As animals ourselves, we are just as susceptible. When a viral transfer between animals and humans takes place, it is known as zoonosis.
Below are some of the most common theories about how this ‘zoonosis’ took place, and how SIV became HIV in humans:
The ‘Hunter’ Theory
The most commonly accepted theory is that of the ‘hunter’. In this scenario, SIVcpz was transferred to humans as a result of chimps being killed and eaten or their blood getting into cuts or wounds on the hunter. Normally the hunter’s body would have fought off SIV, but on a few occasions it adapted itself within its new human host and become HIV-1. The fact that there were several different early strains of HIV, each with a slightly different genetic make-up (the most common of which was HIV-1 group M), would support this theory: every time it passed from a chimpanzee to a man, it would have developed in a slightly different way within his body, and thus produced a slightly different strain.
An article published in The Lancet in 20043, also shows how retroviral transfer from primates to hunters is still occurring even today. In a sample of 1099 individuals in Cameroon , they discovered ten (1%) were infected with SFV (Simian Foamy Virus), an illness which, like SIV, was previously thought only to infect primates. All these infections were believed to have been acquired through the butchering and consumption of monkey and ape meat. Discoveries such as this have led to calls for an outright ban on bushmeat hunting to prevent simian viruses being passed to humans.

I want to shed some light on the real issue at hand,and posit my argument on my own life experience. I also want to say that if you are far left/right you can stop reading here. I am not a liberalist, I am realistic about my surroundings. Not accepted by your typical Afrikaner I have to prove myself first,and even harder to make a statement when I am surrounded by a group of blacks. Still though I will make my stand and be who I am. I witnessed the gruesome murder of a black man at the tender age of 5,by a group of far right white people. It was for no more reason than his dog barking at theirs,which they mustve justified by thinking even his dog shouldve known he was inferior… I do want to mention that I also saw my family members,father and uncles fight off these ruthless perpetrators and trying to save the man’s life. We were on my uncle’s farm that day and I will never forget what I saw. The cold hearted assholes laughing at my family for trying to help. There was however no more chance of saving the poor man. I watched him bleed to death on the garden chair. I couldnt stop staring at the chair even after he had gone. The killers were apprehended and trialed,and served/ is serving time in jail. I cant remember their faces but Ill never forget the day
Second story was about a year later when I was 6. I visited my grandfather in hospital after being assaulted and shot for a 4th time by a groups of 5 black men. My grandfather was 74 years old at the time. The assault happened because my grandfather sold sheep for cheaper than they did, it was bad for business having him around. My grandfather was however saved by the black worker he had on the farm at that time, Skilpad. He chopped open the jaw of one of the bastards,and they started running. They were trialed and got away without bail
Now lets get back to South Africa and its current state as these crimes occured in 91 and before…This is where I ask the blacks reading this to plese try and understand our views

Farms were taken away because the grounds supposedly belonged to the forefathers of the blacks claiming, regardless of the blood and sweat it was paid for, or the black hands it fed. People keep on saying things like “we shouldnt be living in the past”, but the fact of the matter is that its only human nature..ther is absolutely no way in hell that you can get people to forgive and forget.The big problem now is, the whites wish they can forgive and forget and the blacks are still looking to get their turn at the whites..

First of all, I am South African, I am white, a male and Afrikaans speaking. I graduated in 1996 and completed my training as CA(SA) then too. I was offered a job in the UK and was deligheted at the opportunity it offered me to explore the world of business and expand my horisons. I never left SA in my heart and only stayed in the UK because I met the love of my life here in the UK and because she had 2 children from a previous marriage; we could never leave UK as the father of the children would never have agreed to it anyway. Together we have been to SA twice now (I have been more than that on my own). Angie (my lovely wife) is mad about SA. She thinks it is the most beautiful country on earth.
I always used to say that SA will never go the same way as Zim. I always believed that there is much more goodwill and tolerance and that Mandela, the incredible gentleman that he was, brought the stability. I wish FW de Klerk had the balls to do it years earlier because Madiba would have been younger and would have been able to lead the nation longer and there would have been more chance of sanity and reason prevailing over hatred and rascism inder Mandela.

I was since my school day anti-apartheid. I was visiting friends in Soweto during the state of emergency in 1988. I had tears in my eyes when I realised how incredibly good natured the gross majority of the people of Soweto were even then.
I have realised that the majority of South Africans – Black, White Coloured Indian – are in fact rational and love their co-countrymen and women.

All I can say to all the rational people, do not underestimate the lunacy of JM. He is the mouthpiece for a small group, but he has power to antagonise, to inflame, but also to organise and instigate.
If I can give any advice to anybody of non-black skin. Look carefully at what is important to you. If you want love, peace and prosperity for you and your family… South Africa is now only where Zim was 25 years ago. He will then find himself a Yaght and maybe another 4 houses abroad from where he can keep on incite and instigate … that is how he obtains power to build his empire … and from there he will be outside the warzone and the strife he has instigated and created. His breathren will live in poverty and strife and a land of crime and he will say to them…”it is worth it, you are doing it for yourselves”; what is worse, they will believe him, beacuse they wont get education & health; two of the main pinnacles that fosters literacy and progression. Without literacy they will blindly follow, just like in Zim. The man is not “all there”. He is a sandwich short of a pick-nic… But he is a Hitler in a black skin and the Jews are the whites…And anybody opposing him is a white colonialist in disguise (black skin or not)… and he will crush them.
All the fighting and talking to stop him is in vain; and even if you do there will be someone else, to take over where he left. Unfortunately Africa has not got one example of a country that has risen above the occasion. In todays day and age with access to the web and cable TV etc, it is so easy to see how the world out there has moved on and grown… Yet Africa and the hatred for the whites will continue to be barbarically persued by such a few bad people. I live in England now and you cannot believe how wonderful it is not to have barbed wire fencing, a gun, a watchdog, news of murders and rapes that is everyday life. People value life and tolrate each other to the nth degree. And if that is what colonials is all about, trust me all the rational black people would also prefer that.
