Craig, well said. And Tom…tisk tisk. The reason most of us are here is to bask in the pseudo-political humor of our great nation because we care greatly for the wellbeing of all of it’s citizens.

Furthermore, South Africa will never slip into the clutches of a depraved dictator such as old Bob Mugabe. We do have a constitution which prevents any such actions to be taken by our government. Pick up and read the constitution you cretinous bigot.

All this attention focused on the stupidity of J Malema only places this individual further under the spot light. I guess he’s starting to enjoy this and his popularity amongst the uneducated youth and generally the unskilled population, only gains momentum.
The problem is that the racial card is always played and this will certainly lead to disaster. Note that the education system in this country is undoubtedly degrading year by year…what fruit will the next generation present to the world in the form of leaders? Like J Malema they will probably ignore criticism and say stupid things like “What is this hermaphrodite word in Pedi?”
I have worked in neighbouring countries for many years and noticed that the leaders of those countries trully avoid any association with some of our political clowns.

Solution : Education and Education only and stop focusing on materialtic possessions. Have all this crap now while the gravy train moves but in future when all has failled and our infrastucture is irreparable, this great machine that is South Africa will need the inevitable presence and assistance of Europe and Asia. Will all these consultants, bankers, engineers and other skilled Europeans and Asians be called Boers by people in the same educaion levels of J Malema?

We all have a responsibility towards our mother country, even if people like Malema think he is in control.

I’m just going to cut and paste what I’ve been posting and hope I make a difference…because that’s all I have, my opinion and a voice:

I am a ‘white’ South African I HAVE NO PLACE ELSE TO GO!!! Where would you kick me out to?!?! I am not British nor am I from any other European or Western nation! My family tree extends to generations of South Africans! THIS COUNTRY IS AS MUCH MINE AS YOURs! All I want is to be able to be proud of it! Whether that be under the government of a red, white, black or purple president…WHY SHOULD IT MATTER, as long as they preach love, equality, unity, justice and education for all (especially that poor ignorant Malema who is in desperate need of an education especially).
This is the 21st Century! I’m absolutely stupefied at the attitudes still prevalent today! YOU ARE NO MORE ENTITLED TO THIS LAND THAN I AM!!! Black Americans now living in America…ARE THEY BEING EJECTED OR FORCED FROM THEIR HOMES OR LAND????? And what about London? There are more Indians, Africans and East Europeans than there are ‘whites’ and we don’t see the English spewing hatred and ousting an ethnic group just because of their ancestry!!!! Do not for a second blame a regime you do not even remember if you are my age and went to school with all sorts of races and cultures! The world does not owe you anything…YOU WORK FOR WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ACHIEVE IN LIFE!
I did not come from an exceptionally wealthy family, in fact my mother struggled long hours at work to ensure my sister and I were fed, clothed and educated. I worked through high school and after School I bought myself a flight out of South Africa because the opportunities available to me, being as I was not black, were almost non-existent!

I am today a helicopter pilot and living abroad, but I STILL LOVE SOUTH AFRICA! MY FLAG HANGS ON THE WALL AND I SHALL NEVER GIVE UP MY ON MY COUNTRY! But, I worry about not only my family and friends, but every single South African black white pink green…IT DOESN’T MATTER! I LOVE YOU ALL…and I hope JM either goes back to school to get an education or that someone powerful (hint hint MR PRESIDENT!!!) takes a stand, finds his morals and Teaches his country to love again! Where is Nelson Mandela!!! What would he say about all this poison!?!?!?

I’ve been reading all these posts the last 3 days and been especially confused and annoyed at words like,”enemies” and “white fuckers”…
All these ‘US and Them’ attitudes are what’s the problem in the first place! I would love to live and work in South Africa, but I prefer not being overlooked for jobs purely because I’m not the right colour despite whether my qualifications exceed another or not! And having some nutcase promoting the killing of a race just because he’s bored or stupid or both! And, Julius Malema, you DO NOT SPEAK FOR ALL BLACK PEOPLE! I know many black people like Madiba who have SA’s best interest at heart and are just as embarrassed by Your bulling at ignorant antics! I’m sure the Cosa Nostra boere groups have a plan, as we speak. Moreover, malenema is doing a lot for the opposition’s course. Thousand of ANC YL supporters (the educated ones) are defecting to other parties … or the AWB. For all we know, melenema is an agent for the AWB.

Whether agent Jacob’s tongue lash meant anything at all, remains to be seen. I doubt that.

Exactly how I feel. I never supported the AWB but in the last few days, my views have changed.

I still cringe when I hear the “k” word and some of the racist emails that are doing the rounds make me hair stand on end.

Things have changed. There’s a lot of confusion out there. I wanted to use the word fear but that does not sound right. Many of us are beyond fear. We are a point in history where many of us have been forced to sit up and take note.

ET’s “murder” is a message. He was outspoken about his views. His face represented the WHITE MAN. Not the white Afrikaner: the WHITE MAN. His face was mutilated and he could not be recognised. His genitals were exposed and the message is: humiliation, contempt, disrespect. It would be a mistake to think that this murder was about a wage dispute.

I know that there are millions of black people who condemn Malenema and his supporters behavior. I don’t hate black people. But I had a wake-up call, a serious one.

About Malema and Mugabe … In the end it will be the world that speaks. It is ALL BLACK people who are EMBARRASSED by the actions of black South African racists who speak like fools who have no respect for education or human rights. The more support Malema gets from blacks, the more black people are embarrassed GLOBALLY. The world wants to respect black people, but what is happening in SA is making it very hard to respect black people.
MANDELA made us here in the US believe that black South Africans will make us all proud – that, finally, a rich country will be ruled by a black government to show what black people can achieve in the fields of science, business, sport, etc. Now Mandela is getting old and it becomes clear that the SA government is too corrupt and lazy to help their people. They only think of themselves. 70% of black South Africans are poorer than before. If OBAMA was president of South Africa, no South African would be left behind, the government would steadily be dragged away from corruption, the money would be USED to make things work for everyone. Government programs would systematically reduce racism, fear and lack of education.
In stead South Africa now has a specter called Malema, who is calling for self-destructive genocide because things have gotten so bad that the government needs to find a scapegoat.
Those SAns who support Mugabe … do you realize that you are actually supporting someone who has been in COMPLETE control of his country for 30 years, and in that time has completely destroyed his country’s economy and infrastructure …?!? And after he destroyed the economy, he made a show of destroying the last part of his country’s economy, the “white-managed” agricultural sector, TO TAKE AWAY THE FOCUS from the SIMPLE FACT that he screwed up his country?
DON’T YOU GET IT??? If you take your agriculture back to the stone age, international capitalists will dump their agricultural products on your economy, destroy your small farmers, starve your people and then profit from forcing you to buy food that was produced in OTHER countries, turning you into slaves who have to work for your food!!! We are not living in the Middle Ages any more! Globalization will screw you over if you do not have technological systems in your agriculture, mining, etc.
There are too many people in SA who need food now. In the year 1635 there were only 1 million people in South Africa, now there are 48 million citizens PLUS a few million illegal immigrants. Surplus farming is the only way to avoid starvation during the dry cycles. Subsistence farming is not an option anymore! Get over it!
