Aubuti Malema, we are a Tsakani, Extension 11, Brakpan residence. I’m sending you this message on their behalf, we have a problem regarding our houses. In short, the developer applied for subsidy to build our 66 RDP houses which is Badroom, dining room, kitchen and Bathroom. There was no carpets, Electricity, ceiling etc, you know something that shows that it’s a bond house. You have to do the rest on your own. Now he produced the Bond plan to housing board. He demanded that we must pay the house in installments, because he borrowed us the money, and there’s no signature attached to show agreement between him and the owner, which he did the same to all of us. Others they paid deposit + the installments. 90% of house owner we unemployed, eaning little to can qualify for loan and pensioners. To others he took both husband and wife subsidy plus the deposit of their house. We went all over for assistance regarding this but without success. Housing Board is our biggest problem because they are now running away from us. We were having this problem since 1999.We once told our story on SABC speak out, but things are getting worse and worse because now they are evicting people, and children and old peple are suffering. I’m appealing to you to please help us. My daghter is 15 years old. She said to me i must try to find a way to inform you about our problem because you are her role model. I didn’t ask her how, because she was more comfortable. Please help us, you are our last hope.

The email from Mangadij regarding the provisioning of housing is a desperate cry for help, whether it arrived in the right place or not..
People are not idiots because they are uneducated. That is just unfortunate & those of us who have had the good fortune to have a decent eduction can thank our lucky stars we are not in the same boat as these people.
Malema, on the other hand, has the means to enrich himself through knowledge, yet he continues to spew the biggest load of bile ever, failing to come to grips with the real world & address the bigger issues at hand. I think the e-mail from Mangadij is a cry for help. It is truly sad that that this person calls out to the ANC for the most basic thing a human needs – shelter.
